Bomalee Ranaweera

Bomalee was born and raised in Sri Lanka. She has worked both as a College Instructor and a School Teacher before migrating to US.

In 2013 she chose the Montessori Field as a career because of her passion to work with children and holds an AMS Primary Teaching Credential from The Northern Virginia Montessori Institute at Belmont; along with a Bachelor of Arts and a MBA from The University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.

She lives in Sterling, VA with her husband and enjoys cooking, gardening, listening to music, watching movies, traveling, entertaining friends and family in her free time.

Bomalee is excited to have joined SHMS to help children grow and advance via their Montessori Journey.
