Fatoum El-Yacoubi

Fatoum earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication with a minor in International Relations from George Mason University and is  Montessori trained in the primary years ages 3-5.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, she has always embraced the beauty of bilingualism. During a break from classroom work, she dedicated herself to teaching Arabic to children using Montessori materials. Fatoum is excited to share her experience and enthusiasm with the Sunset Hills Montessori community, as she embarks once again on the fulfilling journey of nurturing and educating children.

She also has a deep appreciation for the Montessori math curriculum, which effectively bridges abstract concepts with concrete understanding, providing a strong foundation for young minds.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
