Mitra Esmaeili

My name is Mitra, and I was born and raised in Iran. After moving to Canada, I completed my BA at George Brown College. I then met my husband in 1997 in America, and moved here to raise my two children.

My oldest son just recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and now works as a software engineer at Startup. My younger daughter is now a second-year student at UVA and is currently studying computer science.

I joined my first Montessori school in 2018 in Leesburg because I love working with children. Children at this age inspire me to this day, and I believe I learn from them just as much as they learn from me.

In my free time, I enjoy going on walks in nature, cooking, and spending time with my loved ones.
