Taylor Walker

Taylor was born and raised in Tidewater Virginia, where she received her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University. She first started working in Montessori in 2018 and has had a passion for it ever since.

She relocated to Northern Virginia in 2019 where she found her home with SHMS and made the decision to pursue her certification as a Lead Montessori educator. She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Montessori Early Childhood Education at Loyola University.

Becoming a part of the Montessori community has given Taylor a newfound love and appreciation for her profession. In her free time, she enjoys caring for her collection of plants, reading, and spending time with her two spoiled kittens, Willow and Oliver.
