Renée Cummings

My name is Renee Cummings. I am a Reston native and graduated from South Lakes High School in 2023. While I was in middle school and high school I volunteered at SHMS when my mother, also and educator, was part of the SHMS community. I loved volunteering and was excited to be given the opportunity to become a full-time classroom assistant. I enjoy working with children because of the connections I build watching them grow. It is an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience to see. 

I am passionate about art, nature, and animals. In my spare time I like to paint and create art in any way that I can. I also like to walk through Reston's beautiful trails with my dog.
