Alex Sanchez-Ovaje

Hi! I am Ms. Alex, and I love being a part of the SHMS community. Before joining SHMS, I was an after-school supervisor for five years and worked with LCPS. I hold one Associate degree in Teacher education and a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Liberal Arts for the Teaching Professions, which I earned at George Mason University in 2019.

I grew up in the Reston/Herndon area and graduated from South Lakes High School. Outside work, I enjoy traveling, reading, skateboarding, biking, and spending time with my family.
